Tansy - (Tanacetum vulgare)

This perennial herb, flowers from spring to autumn with bright yellow button flowers. It can grow up to three feet tall. Plant Tansy in average, well drained soil in a shady location. Harvest the leaves as needed and the flowers as they open. You can add fresh leaves in salads and egg dishes. Parts used: Leaves, tops. Don't use if you are pregnant. Don't use for a long period of time since it can be toxic. |
