This is an annual plant that can grow up to 8 inches high. Eyebright has purple and yellow flowers with a black center. Eyebright is a member of the figwort family and can be found in grasslands and meadows in Europe. Its Latin name Euphrasia officinales comes from the Greek word euphrosyne which means "good cheer."
