Licorice - (Glycyrrhiza glabra)


Licorice Herb

This perennial herb has been used for over 3000 years. It can grow up to 7 feet high. Licorice is 50 times sweeter than sugar so it's often used to disguise the bitter taste of medicines.

Licorice candy does not contain Licorice.

Parts used: Rhizome, roots and runners.

Don't us if you have diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, severe menstrual problems, edema or a history of stroke. Don't use in large quantities.
